Mid C18 with alterations and additions. C19 slate roof, hipped, with wide
eaves soffit. 3 storey house, 5 windows (centre one blank), sash, with bars,
12 panes. Central entrance doorcase, with segmental hood, moulding with dentils,
shaped consoles and fluted pilasters. Brown brick front with red dressings
including gauged flat arches to windows, 1st floor centre window with shaped
soffit. Floor bands. C18 front railings with centre gate. Wing to south
(now The Little Cedars), early C19 incorporating earlier portion. Amber brick,
2 storey and 1 storey. Entrance, south, to Alwyn Lane, has door with 6 reeded
flush panels and fanlight. Sash windows. Older portion, in brown brick,
with sliding casement window. Garden to west.
