House. Core is C16 but early C18 extension added to front and early C19 L-wing added to right side rear. Small C20 extensions to rear right. Timber-framed with colourwashed brick infill to rear range and colourwashed or pebbledashed Bargate stone to front and side. Plain tiled roofs with three brick chimneystacks. Early C18 front range is of two storeys with brick dentilled eaves cornice and central brick chimneystack. Three C20 casements in original openings to first floor, the central2-light, the outer ones 3-light, 3-light with cambered heads to ground floor and central brick gabled porch with half-glazed door in panelled reveal. Early C19 L-range similar of Bargate stone with red brick dressings, hipped roof with central chimneystack and C19 casements with cambered heads to ground floor. North west range is the original C16 part, timberframed with frame visible to west with a slightly curved windbrace and half-hipped tiled roof with chimneystack to south wall. Catslide roof to north which is weatherboarded and has one gabled dormer. Two storeys. Casement window to first floor, two casements to ground floor and wooden pedimented doorcase with brackets.
I NTERIOR: C 16 wing has exposed frame with chamfered spine beam and floor joists, ledged door with pintle hinges and latch and further plank door and roof structure with side purlins, collar beam and rafters. South range has early C19 staircase with column newels and two stick balusters to each tread and two rooms have inserted fireplaces of C18 type.
