Church. Circa 1100, chancel extended in 1250; C16 west porch with late C19
bell turret and vestry rebuilt in 1965. Rendered with quoins to ends, timber framed
porch; plain tiled roofs with wood shingles to bell turret. Nave and chancel
with porch and bell turret to west end and vestry to the north west. Windows all
C12 and C13 lancets with deep rere arches, 2 on the east end. Norman west door
surround with one order of shafts carrying block capitals; oak benches and billet
decoration in the parch.
Interior: simple, whitewashed with stone dressings. Chancel arch on piers with
scalloped capitals.
Fittings: Rectangular piscina in south chancel wall. Panelled and billeted pulpit.
Monuments: North nave wall; monument to Robert Shallcross died 1772. Grey and white
marble.
South chancel wall: Brass to John Brock, died 1495 with figures of his wife and
children c15 inches high.
