House. C16 with C17 extensions, larger early C19 extensions to rear. Timber
framed section on brick plinth with whitewashed brick cladding below, alternate
bands of fishscale and diamond pattern tile hanging above. Brick end piers.
Low hipped slate roofs with 2 rendered ridge stacks to left and right of centre.
C shape plan with parallel ranges to street, courtyard formed between them on the
right hand return front. Two storeys. 3 tripartite glazing bar sashes
across first floor, 3 on ground floor below. C20 flat brick and glazed porch
with glazed outer doors to left of centre in flanking fluted pseudo-pilasters.
Half glazed C19 panelled door within. Left hand return front: Planked and
studded door in large timber and part glazed porch with bracketed gable above.
Right hand return front: Two projecting end wings, C19 angle bay window to ground
floor end of left wing. Wood ovolo mullioned window to centre of ground floor in
recessed range. Half-glazed door to left of centre in recessed range with pentice
roofed open porch to left.

Interior:- Earliest brick part of house contains two dated and panelled overmantels-
1583 and 1592. Chamfered ceiling beams to ground floor rooms in front range.
