House, now divided. C15 to left, late C19 extensions to front and rear. Timber
framed to left with rendered plinth, whitewashed roughcast cladding with stone
rusticated quoins. Plain and fishscale tile hanging above on street front to
right; applied timber frame to first floor gable to left. Horsham slab roof over
left hand range, slate roof to right hipped on left end. Rendered ridge stack to
right of centre and corbelled ridge stack to rear of left hand wing. Two tall
stacks to rear of parallel range on right. Gable front wing to left with parallel
ranges at right angles to right. Two wings at right angles to rear. Two storeys:
street front - irregular fenestration with 4 casement windows across the first
floor. Ground floor projecting to right under flat roof with central gable. Two
8-light mullion and transome windows flank central square bay. Glazed door to left
under flat hood in fluted pier surround. Left hand return front:- Offset
truncated stack to right. Irregular fenestration with 4 casements across first
floor including one eaves window to left of centre. 4 windows to ground floor.
Planked door to right in porch recess. Further C20 glazed door to left in pent
roofed porch.
Right hand return front:- Two gables to left with two bay range to right at right
angles containing central polygonal bay projecting under turret roof with balcony
on first floor, over shaped gable to right of centre linking two halves with
glazed doors under projecting flat hood.
Interior: Framing visible in left half of house. Ceiling frames. Crown post roof
to former Hall and some panelling also survives.
