Farmhouse. C17. Timber framed with pebbledashed colourwashed render and
plain tile roof, originally thatched. Three-cell two-storey plan with
attic. Entrance front: C20 4-panel door at right with a C20 lattice gabled
porch. Further doorway at left of centre with glazed panel. Between these
2 doors is a 3-light C19 casement window and a similar window at far right.
To left are one 3-light casement and a 2-light casement. To the first
floor are four C19 three-light casements. One shallow gabled dormer window
of 2-lights to the attic. To ridge at left is a 3-flue stack. Right hand
gable end has a ground floor sash of 4 x 4 panes and a 2-light casement to
the attic. Rear: projecting 2-storey outshut at right with a chimney stack
of 2 flues with offsets of tumbled brick and to left of this a single-
storey outshut with lean-to roof and 2-light window. To left is a C20
glazed window with 6 panels to right of which is a window of 3 x 2 panes.
to the first floor at left is a 3-light casement. Further stack below the
ridge at left of 2 flues.
Interior: chamfered ceiling beams, close studded walling and jowled wall
posts.
