Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18 with probably earlier core. 2 storeys and
attics. 3-cell lobby entrance plan with later rear service wing. Timber-
framed and plastered; partly underbuilt C19 with painted brick. plaintiled
roof with central and gable chimneys of red brick. Early C19 small-pane sash
windows. Prominent C19 2-storey entrance porch of painted brick, plaintiled
roof, 4-panelled door. At the left (service) end exposed framing at upper
floor level is of c.1600. All other framing, and plaster cornices and ceiling
motifs in parlour and chamber above, are of late C17.
