Farmhouse. Early C17 with alterations of early C19. 3-cell lobby-entrance
plan, but with 4th cell at left-hand service end. 2 storeys and attic.
Timber-framed and plastered. Concrete tiled roof with internal chimney of red
brick. At each gable end is a moulded tie-beam of c.1600 with billet carving.
C20 metal casements. Early C19 entrance doorway: door with 6 fielded panels,
pediment broken around semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars,
moulded pilasters. Good original staircase with fretted splat balusters and
newel finials. Wind-braced clasped-purlin roof.
