Farmhouse. Early-mid C16, the rear service wing probably added later. L
shape plan. Timber framed and plastered; hipped roof with plaintiles to front
and pantiles to rear. 2 storeys. 3 cell main range, originally cross passage
entry. Various C19 and C20 casement windows; asymmetrical doorway with plank
door and moulded architrave. Each wing has an internal stack. The hall has
very fine heavily roll-moulded floorbeams and joists, and a panelled screen
with moulded muntins against the cross passage; the fireplaces in the hall
and parlour have carved beams over: these are in largely original condition.
Remainder of interior considerably modernised.
