Parish church, nave and chancel C16, tower rebuilt in C16. Considerably altered
in mid C19 when north aisle was added. Tower in Septaria, flint and brick;
string course to brick, battlemented belfry stage; nave and chancel in septaria
and flint repaired with red brick, nave stuccoed to south wall. Tower has 2
diagonal, stepped buttresses, C14 west doorway with moulded pointed arch and
panel window over the brick dressings to stonework. Belfry louvred windows
with pointed brick arches and jambs and Y tracery. Inside is a C13 font with
square bowl on round shaft and 4 detached columns; C15 piscina and south
blocked doorway.
