1840, by James Noble based on designs of C R Cockerell. Symmetrical
composition, with centre and end gabled pavilions with links cloistered
at ground floor. Red brick with yellow brick dressings including quoins
and pilasters. 2 storeys. Parapet with stone cope. Tile roof. Flank
pavilions include shaped gables with round windows. Recessed mullion
transom casements. Pointed arched entrance with case. Obtuse angled
arches to cloisters.
