Pair of small town houses. Early C19. Pale brown brick,
Flemish bond to front; grey slate roof, ridge parallel with
front.
3 storeys, of one bay per house. Painted stone plinth;
recessed sashes with painted stone sills and wedge lintels.
The first storey, from west to east, has a boarded door in a
round-arched back passage, a door of 2 flush panels and 4
fielded panels to No.18, two 12-pane sashes and a door of 2
fielded and 2 plain panels; each door has a case with plain
pilasters, frieze and cornice. The second storey has two
12-pane sashes, the third storey two 9-pane sashes; cyma
cornice. The rear first storey is extended; the upper storey
has two recessed 12-pane sashes.
