2 cottages. c1840. Brown brick in Flemish bond to the front
with grey slate roof having ridge parallel with the street. 2
storeys, each cottage having one bay. Painted plinth;
round-arched painted stone or imitation stone doorcases with
radial-bar fanlights; door of 6 fielded panels to No.16 and of
4 bolection-moulded fielded panels to No.18; painted stone
sills and wedge lintels; No.16 has replaced 12-pane windows,
No.18 has 12-pane recessed sashes; painted stone cornice; a
brick ridge chimney to each cottage.
The rear and INTERIORS were not inspected. Nos 20 & 22 (not
included) have been altered and are not of special interest.
