Churchyard wall and gate piers to Church of St Thomas of Canterbury

(Formerly Listed as: PARKGATE ROAD Wall surrounding churchyard)

North-east side of churchyard wall and 2 gate piers. Late C19.
Squared snecked sandstone. The wall retains the churchyard
which is over 1 metre above street level. Roughly rounded
flush coping-stones. The square ashlar gate piers have tooled
raised panels to sides and to faces of 2-stage pyramidal caps.
The wall continues south-west along Cheyney Road (qv), with
gate piers and gates at corner.
