visible features early C19. Irregular bond brown brick, the
east end and rear, to north, pebbledashed; grey slate roof,
ridge parallel with front.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic; 5 windows. The front has a
small 2-storey forward projection, left, with blank front and
left side, a 6-pane-plus-one-pane-above transom casement to
ground floor and a flush 12-pane sash to first floor on right
side. The main face of the front has flush windows with
minimal sills and cambered brick heads: 8-pane sash; 12-pane
sash; 4-pane casement; 16-pane sash; part-glazed door in
tripartite simple pedimented case; 16-pane sash to ground
floor: 12-pane sash; tripartite 4;12;4-pane sash; two 12-pane
sashes to first floor: 5 casements in gabled half-dormers to
attic, of 2 lights; 2 lights; 3 lights; 2 lights; 3 lights. A
chimney near left end, immediately before the ridge.
Each end has a 12-pane sash to the first floor. The rear has a
two-and-a-half-storey gabled projecting porch on the second
bay from east, with a 1-storey outshut east and an outshut
tapering to the main wall west. A 4-panel door with flat hood;
irregular window-patterns, mostly small-pane casements; a
chimney at north east corner and a flush chimney west of
porch. The position and form of the porch and leans of walls
suggest a timber frame concealed by the pebbledash.
INTERIOR not inspected.
