Stable range, barn and corn mill, now 3 houses. Mid C18 with
later alterations and conversion to housing c1990. Coursed
squared gritstone, stone slate roofs, quoins.
Former stables, right: 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows; a
keyed round arch to former passageway, rounded stone reveals
and tie-stone jambs to doors and windows. Projecting at right
angles, left: a 3-storey mill building with 2-light mullioned
windows and blocked doorway reputed to have been inscribed 'W
L 1764'; a lower 2-storey linking bay with loading door, now
window, on 1st floor, stone steps missing; a 4-bay barn, now 2
houses including 'Croft End Cottage', with segmental cart
arch, tie-stone door jambs, gable coping. Set back on left and
linked to the 3-storey mill building by a modern screen wall,
the 3-storey main mill building with small windows, gable
copings.
