House and terrace walling. c1840. Ashlar, slate hipped roof. 2
storeys, 3 bays, the centre set back with 2 fluted Ionic
columns in antis to entrance and 1st-floor balustraded balcony
and 2 square columns in antis supporting entablature. The
flanking bays have 2 ground-floor windows with continuous
cornice on console brackets, 1st-floor window in moulded
architrave with stone balustered balcony. All windows are tall
casements with glazing bars. Blocking course, cornice, grouped
octagonal chimney stacks. Rear stable wing of 2 storeys, 6
windows, 2 blind, wide segmental arch to ground floor. Left
return: 4 windows, centre slightly recessed.
INTERIOR: reputed to contain staircase with cast-iron
balusters, open well with segmental barrel vault, small
circular hall with moulded frieze and modillion cornice and
elliptical archways.
