Lock-keeper's cottage, now house. Probably built at the same
time as the adjacent entrance lock to the Ulverston Canal (qv)
which opened in 1796. Roughcast with a slate roof. Deep plan.
A single storey 3-window range. The windows have plain reveals
and projecting sills. The 2 to the left of the door are 6-pane
sashes. That to the right is sashed. The right-hand gable is
coped and has a chimney. To the right of the 2nd window is a
chimney behind the ridge.
