Parish church. Rebuilt circa 1901 by W.R. Bryden of Buxton. Coursed
stone; red tile roof, verge parapets. Tower, nave, chancel and attached
transepts, loosely early English. Short Tower to west of 3 stages, 3-
stage angle buttresses, labelled trefoil headed windows. Twin-light to
bell chamber with pointed arch and quatrefoil over; parapet, ramped at
angles. Nave: 3 bays, two-stage buttresses between bays; two-light
trefoil headed windows, pointed labels over. Chancel: lower than nave,
attached lower transepts; circular windows with trefoil lights;
5-light Geometric East window. Interior: entered through tower.
Aisleless nave, almost semi-circular chancel arch on corbelled imposts;
arch-braced roof to collar; king post over, twin purlin with cusped
wind braces, coffered and boarded chancel roof; circular stone pulpit with
high-relief carved fruit, and brattished top rail, gabled reredos, blind-
arcaded square C19 font. Stained glass to East and central North
window.
