Farmhouse. C17 with C19 rebuilding and additions. Coursed rough-faced
stonework and rebuilding in red brick; tiled roof. Through passage to
former T-plan of parallel ranges, outshut at upper end and additions.
Brick end stacks and ridge stack to hall side of cross passage. Two-
storey, 3-1 window front with outshut projection to right and entrance
to left of centre; left hand end and centre bays above first floor level
rebuilt in brickwork; toothed eaves; two-window first floor and left
bay ground floor with C19 casements, ground floor windows to right of
entrance in 3, 6 and 2-light Cl7 chamfered mullions, the larger two
with labels and moulded mullions, the hall window additionally with centre
king mullion and low-relief carved urns to jambs; two lattice casements
remain, window to projection with extended left hand light. Tudor arched
door head with quoin surround. Further 4-light mullion window to rear of
hall and five-light to outshut side; carved Tudor arched door head to
rear cross passage.
