Non-conformist chapel. Dated 1801. Rough faced coursed stone, ashlar
quoins and surrounds; stone slate roof. Single cell plan. Two-storey,
3-window gable frontage; central entrance. Flanked by two windows;
all-round arched, raised block surrounds, keystone and imposts, cast
iron frames Gibbsian surround to doorway with low-relief carved panels
to double doors; painted inscription "BETHEL/J.L./1801" over door;
blind oeil de beuf over upper windows and ball finial to apex. Two
round-arched windows to south side and three to east gable.
Interior: Early C19 timber gallery with concave break to side on turned
posts. Late C19 pews and twin stair central stand or rostrum.
