Farmhouse. Early C17 core to mid-C18 and C19 refacing. Red brick, part-
rendered; tiled roof; end stacks and centre stack. Rectangular compacted
U-shaped plan; formerly L-plan of parlour cross-wing type. South elevation:
rendered in 2 parts; C18 gabled cross-wing of 2 storeys. and attic to left
with raised bands at plinth, first floor, ceiling and attic levels; 2-light
small-pane casement windows to attic and ground floor; 2-storey mid-C19
wing flush to right with dentilled eaves and segmental-headed casement
windows; 2-light to first floor and 3-light to ground; gabled single-
storey porch against cross-wing; arched entry and overlight. Raised bands
continue to all exposed faces of cross-wing. Interior: hall or house place
has ogee-chamfered cross beam and stepped run out stops, also chamfered
joists. Early C18 coved-moulded plaster cornice to parlour ceiling in
south-west room.
