Said to have been built as a chapel in circa mid-C18 but contains circa C17 stopped
chamfer ceiling beams. John Fletcher the Methodist Minister at Madeley from 1760
to 1785, is said to have preached here.
Converted to a pair of brick cottages and retaining nothing of the chapel form except
perhaps for a gabled stone porch-like projecting at the rear of No 52. Wooden casement
windows. Included for historical associations.
