26.7.78 II
Lodge c1830-40. Brick with ashlar dressings and slate roofs. Unusual paired
chimney stacks set diagonally. Ashlar coped gables with kneelers and
finials with ogee domical caps. Chamfered plinth and first floor band. 2
storey, L-plan. Projecting ashlar porch with similar finialed gable,
mullioned lights to sides and a four-centred doorway. 2 and 3 light, iron
framed casement windows in chamfered ashlar surrounds.
