House. C17 and later. Brick, pantile roof. Lobby entrance type plan. Main
facade of 2 storeys, 4 bays. Brick plinth; diapering to brickwork. Moulded
brick platband, broken over door. 2 C19 square-headed casements under
segmental arches to left of door. C20 door and surround. Right hand bay
now a garage. 4 C19 casements under soldier arches to upper floor; pilaster
formed by gable return to left and right. Axial stack and left hand internal
gable end stack. Brick plinth to left hand shaped gable wall, diapering to
brickwork; brick pilasters to corners with moulded brick capitals; moulded
brick platband between ground and first floors. Blocked window under
segmental arch to ground floor; first floor with C19 casement under segmental
arch, arch of slightly narrower opening above. Blocked window under segmental
arch to attic; above this a blind panel, brick reveals in relief with moulded
brick supports to each. Right hand gable wall rendered, part of shaped gable
lost. Lower 2 storey range to rear of house also with a shaped gable probably
C19. Interior. A beam with double ovolo moulding and stop chamfer to ground
floor room.
