House. Previously dated 1663 on tie irons; front of house collapsed and was
rebuilt in 1888. C18 lower 2 storey range to right. Flint and brick.
Pantile roof. Irregular plan. Facade of 3 bays, 2 storeys and attic re-faced
in C19. C20 timber mullioned and transomed windows. Central C20 door. C17
brick corner pilasters to ground floor. C19 platband. 3 first floor windows.
First and third bays with C19 stepped gables, previously with shaped gables.
Pedimented dormer over central bay. To ground and first floors of right hand
return wall a 3-light window with moulded brick mullions and hood moulds.
To left hand return wall a similar window to ground and first floors.
Contemporary parallel rear range now with sash windows with glazing bars; 4
sashes to ground floor in earlier openings with hood moulds. Central low
glazed door with a sash window with hood above, between floors. To first
floor left, a pair of brick mullioned and transomed windows all under one hood
mould with single light to left. To right 2 sash windows. 2 pedimented attic
lights. Gable end stacks with central pilasters. Interior. 2 rooms with
C18 pine panelling. Early C17 staircase probably introduced to house.
