Farmhouse. Early C17. Rendered timber frame with pantiled roof. 2 storeys
with attic. 7 C19 2-, 3- and 4- light casement windows transomed on ground
floor. Off-centre C20 2-storey brick porch. Original front door with
moulded cover-strips and very fine frame with double ovolo mouldings and
elaborate barred and ogee stops. One central dormer. An off-centre axial
stack and a later gable-end stack. Jowled principal
wall-posts. Original winding stair from first floor to attic. Roof
structure with butt-purlins, collars, intermediate ties and wind-bracing.
Evidence for a former central attic gable.
