Farmhouse. Early C16, greatly altered C18 when timber framed structure
re-fronted and brick skinned. Whitewashed. Thatched roof. Lobby entrance
plan. South front of one storey and dormer attic. C20 brick timber and glazed
porch. One C20 bay window to left. To right one C18 iron 3-light casement.
C20 brick and glazed outshut closes facade to right. Gabled roof, hipped to
west. 2 through-eaves dormers under eyebrow thatching, both with 3-light
casements. Over door a triple diamond flue ridge stack on rectangular plinth,
the flues rebuilt. Internal east gable end stack. Rear has full length C20
pantiled outshut. 2 dormers under eyebrow thatching. Interior. Close studded'
timber frame of heavy scantling. In lounge one multiply rolled bridging beam
of early C16. Winder staircase by stack. One blocked mullioned window remains
under eaves to rear. One Queen post remains of original roof of this type,
otherwise all renewed.
