The Willow Tree Fountain
II
Fountain. Originally of 1693, but replaced by a larger version
c1830 by Paxton & Holmes, the work executed by Bowers of
Chesterfield. Sandstone boulders and copper. Roughly circular
base of irregularly laid drystone boulders. Copper fountain
above in the form of a willow tree with jets of water spouting
from its branches. The Gardens and Park are included on the
