GV II

House. Mid C18 with earlier origins, remodelled mid C19. Squared coursed
limestone and ironstone with slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys.
2-window range of 2-light stone mullion windows with hood moulds. Central C20
door under flat stone arch. Canted turret to left has battered base and conical
roof. 2 single-light windows with moulded stone surrounds to front face and 2
small 2-light stone mullion windows in left face. Ashlar gable parapet to right
and stone stacks at ends. Large first floor panel above door has stone surround
and contains various pieces of carved masonry arranged in a random manner. Side
elevation and C20 extension to rear are rendered. Interior not inspected.
