House. Early C19 with extensive additions. Painted brick; pantiled roof;
one yellow brick chimney and another roughcast stack. Projecting wing to
right has thatched roof. Victorian Gothick style scattered fenestration
with 16-pane sash window on ground floor under a thatched verandah. 2 first-
floor windows have 3 -lights with lancet heads. Bow-fronted wing has left
side door in lean-to stair block. Central French doors with pointed heads
are flanked by similar windows with Y-tracery and stopped drip moulds.
Casements on first floor which has applied timberwork. More Gothic style
windows in lean-to range on the right. Maps indicate that the bow-fronted
wing was added between 1873 and 1885.
