Cottage. C18. Regular coursed ironstone rubble, thatched roof. Brick stack
to right end. 2-unit plan. Single storey plus attic. C20 door to left has
wooden lintel, 3-light casement with wooden lintel to right, two 3-light
casements to attic. Main entrance at right end. The Forge occupies an important
site at the junction of Main Street and Chapel Street. Interior not inspected.
