Partly in Staplehurst civil parish. Road bridge. Part C15, part C18, with
C19 or C20 alterations. Uneven blocks of roughly coursed stone. Parapet
C19 or C20 red and grey brick in Flemish bond with grey brick dressings.
4 arches. 2 south arches probably C18, rounded, with ashlared soffits and
voussoirs. North arch similar but much lower. Second arch from north 4-
centred arched, low, with ashlared voussoirs and stone rubble soffit. 4
rectangular C19 or C20 red and grey brick cutwaters to east. Bridge widened
to west with C19 or C20 red and grey brick
