Timber-framed house of the first half of the C15, originally an open hall
of 2 bays. The timbering and red brick infilling are exposed on the east side
but it is refronted with brick on the front elevation. Two storeys. Hipped
tiled roof. Two sash windows with glazing bars intact and 2 casement windows.
Simple doorcase. The interior has a roof of crown post construction, the crown
post on the central truss being octagonal with a square cap and base. Smoke
blackened rafters.
