School, now house. C19. Datestone 1854, converted to dwelling in 1981. Noted as
having been designed by Sir Henry Dryden'of Canons Ashbv, Coursed squared
ironstone, tile rouf, stone stacks. One storey and attic, 3 bays. Gabled
2 storey porch to left has entrance with 4-centred stone arch and ribbed plank
door. Stone plaque above carved with motto "Virtutis Amore". 3-light stone
mullioned window to attic. Two 3-light stone mullioned windows on ground floor
to right. Gabled half dormers with 3-light stone mullioned windows. Coped gable
ends with kneelers. Interior not inspected,
