Farmhouse. Early C18, with later C18 and C19 alterations. Coursed squared
ironstone, ridged tile roof, brick end stacks. 3-unit plan, 2 storeys and attic:
3-window range. Central part-glazed 6-panel door with pegged wood surround,
stone lintel with key-block and straight hood on brackets. 3-light leaded
casement windows in left and right with stop-chamfered wood lintels and moulded
jambs of original stone mullion windows. Window to left has old crown glass and
Catches, 3-light leaded wave-moulded stone mullion windows to is floor with
hood moulds. Quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers, Right gable end has
3-light blocked stone mullion window to ground floor, similar 2-light window to
1st floor with original diamond-pattern leaded panes and 1-light attic window
with moulded stone surround. Interior has stone-flagged hall and chamfered spine
beams, some with wedge stops. Formerly thatched.
