Carriage house and loose boxes. 1805 for John Smart. Ashlar with graduated
Lakeland slate roof.
2 storeys, L-plan.
To left, i.e. closest to house, 2 carriage houses, with double doors, one with
segmental head, the other with flat lintel. Slatted windows to granary over.
Projecting wing to right has stable-type door with segmental head and renewed
9-pane sash. Gabled roof. A window to the rear is inscribed 'cheese room'on
lintel.
