Part of the Howick Street development circa 1831. Two storeys. No 8 two windows,
Nos 10 and 12 three windows, Nos 14 and 16 one window. Ashlar, stepped up to south.
Nos 10 to 14 have cill bands, all have moulded eaves cornices. Slate roof with
coped verges, all chimneys repaired in brick. Glazing bar sashes, except No 14
which has modern casements. No 8 has a round headed doorway with a 6 panel door
and also a wide segmental coach arch to right. Nos 10 and 12 latter is the John
Bull Inn) have wide depressed coach arches. The windows of No 12 are unevenly
spaced; it has a glazed doorway.
