House. Dated 1681, much restored 1981. Coursed squared limestone, renewed
limestone dressings, thatch roof and brick ridge stack. 3-unit lobby-entry plan.
2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. Plank door just right of centre with
moulded eared stone surround, pulvinated frieze and moulded cornice. 2-light
flat-faced stone mullion windows to ground floor left and right with similar
surrounds, two small 1-light windows to ground floor left of centre with wood
lintels. 2-light flat-faced stone mullion windows to 1st floor with eared stone
surrounds. Plinth with chamfered ironstone coping, ironstone quoins, 6 roosting
holes to 1st floor right of centre and 2 roof dormers. Right gable end facing
street has 3-light flat-faced stone mullion windows to ground, 1st and attic
floors with eared stone surrounds, pulvinated friezes and moulded cornices;
datestone above 1st floor window inscribed H/IH/1681. Interior has spine beams,
corner fireplace and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer.
