House. Dated 1689, altered C19 and C20. Coursed squared limestone, slate roof,
stone end stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. 2-unit central-staircase
plan. Central C20 door with stop-chamfered wood lintel. Datestone above
inscribed GP.1689. 2-light cast-iron diamond-patterned casement windows to
ground and 1st floor except for replacement 2-light casement to ground floor
left. All have flat-arched lintels. 2 C20 roof dormers. Interior:
ogee-stop-chamfered spine beams. Open fireplace with chamfered bressumer, corner
fireplace to other ground floor room with stop-chamfered bressumer. Another
corner fireplace in room upstairs. Dog-leg staircase from ground floor to attic
with twisted balusters to first flight, stick balusters to upper flights.
Collar-truss roof.
