Cottage and outbuilding. C18 remodelled in mid-C19. Tooled squared stone;
pantile roofs with stacks rebuilt on old bases. Single storey. House 3 bays:
central vertical-panelled door under timber lattice porch; 12-pane Yorkshire
sash to right and 6-pane sash to left. Some small rooflights. Coped left
gable; end stacks. Slightly-lower 4-bay outbuilding to left shows 6-pane
casement and 2 windows with blacksmiths' glazing; right end window blocked.
Raised reverse-step coping to left gable. Left return shows pent outhouse.
Rear elevation of outbuilding shows boarded double doors under timber lintel
and 3 blacksmiths' windows.
C20 extension at rear of No. 5 is not of interest.
