Dovecote, probably c.1840. Rubble with tooled-and-margined quoins and
dressings; Welsh slate roof with wooden cap under synthetic sheeting; cast-
iron weathervane. Square plan. South elevation: boarded door under part-
slatted window with slightly-projecting sill, both in chamfered alternating-
block surrounds; below eaves a pigeon entry with 3 arched holes, projecting
sill and stone surround. Pyramidal roof; box cap has 3 more arched holes and
pyramidal top with fox weathervane. Attached yard walls have arched coping;
gateways on south and east, the latter with arched monolithic piers. In
external face of south wall, near east end, is recess, with chamfered lintel,
probably for water trough.
