31/19 Greystead Rectory

GV II

Rectory, now private house. 1818 by H.H. Seward for the Commissioners of
Greenwich Hospital. Ashlar with graduated Lakeland slate roof. 2 storeys
plus attics, 3 bays, with single-storey lean-to on right return. Steps up
to central C20 glazed door. On ground floor tripartite sashes in broad
chamfered surrounds. On 1st floor 9-pane sashes. Concave cornice. Gabled
roof with raised and ridged coping. Corniced end stacks.

Interior: Staircase with stick balusters and ramped handrail. 6-panel doors
and panelled shutters.
