Loose-box range with loft and first-floor living quarters. Early C19. Squared
stone in narrow courses with dressings. Roof has Welsh slates on front and
stone flags on rear. 2 storeys, 6 bays. Flush quoins. Off-centre external
stone stair. Doorway with alternating jambs at left. 4 breathers above doorway.
Stair leads to first-floor boarded door in identical surround with 8-pane sash
at right. The 2 first-floor bays at right were living quarters and contain a
cast-iron fire grate in a stone surround. Continuous single-storey outshut
with pent roof on rear. Late C20 shed on right end bays is not of special
interest. Included for group value.
