Small house. C17, altered C18. Marlstone rubble with wooden lintels; thatch roof
with brick stacks. 2-unit plan with service wing. 2 storeys plus attic. 2-window
front has 3-light C18 casements at first floor; ground floor is partly covered
by a C20 glazed porch, but retains a canted C18 bay window. Single-storey
service wing projects from left of front and has a C18 casement. Roof has gable
stacks plus a small central ridge stack, which carries a "County" fire insurance
plaque, has two 2-light C17 casements and has a gable parapet. Rear wall has
further casements including a 3-light C17 window and a blocked stair window.
Interior; large inglenook fireplace; chamfered spine beams and joists to both
floors; stop-chamfered C17 doorframe; old plank attic door with a wooden latch;
attic flight of winder stair.
