House. C17 with later alterations, mainly in C19. Squared, coursed ironstone.
C20-tile roof. Stone coped gable on left has moulded kneeler. Renewed concrete
ridge and end stacks. 4-unit plan plus barn (now part of house) forming L plan.
Single storey plus attic. Entrance to left has panelled/glazed door and is
flanked by 3-light wood casements, one with a stone lintel, the other with a
wood lintel. To right, two 2-light casements with wood lintels. First floor has
four 2-light wood casements with wood frames, wrought-iron casement fasteners
and wood lintels. Tiled single-storey rectangular bread oven projection on
right. C19 three-light stone mullioned windows in left gable. Barn attached on
rear left was once used as a butcher's shop. Interior of house has chamfered
beams and joists.
