Farmhouse, now house. Probably early C18. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar
quoins; old plain tile roof with brick stacks. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys.
3-window symmetrical front with rendered brick storey bands and deep plaster
eaves cove. Central door with the remains of a wooden porch with Doric columns
beneath a 12-pane sash, flanked at ground and first floors by tripartite sashes,
some probably C19 replacements. Second floor has five 2-light small-pane
casements. Hipped roof with 4 parallel ridges. Sides and rear very plain except
for several blocked or blind windows in return wall to left. Interior: Very
thick spine wall, probably containing former flues, C18 stair with turned
balusters rising to second floor, and a vaulted cellar. Originally a 5-window
front altered in late C18.
