House, now wine bar. C14, with later alterations. Render, on timber-frame and
probably brick; old plain-tile roof; chimney stacks not visible. Single storey
and attic; 3-window range. 6-panel door to right of centre. Late C19 shop front
to left with part-glazed door at right. 3-light wood casements to centre and
right. 3 gabled full dormers with 2-light wood casements. Interior: winder
staircase to rear; 3 full crucks visible to upper floor; rebuilt open stone
fireplace to rear. Later cellar former hall house, the central open bay being
heated by a stone stack which survives in a truncated form on the north wall.
