GV II

House, now public house. Mid C18. Colourwashed limestone rubble; gabled old tile
roof; brick ridge and end stacks. 2-unit lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys; 3-window
range. Segmental brick arch over C20 door. Flat brick and stone arches over C20
and blocked windows: blocked stair-light left of door. Rear left wing of similar
materials and of one storey and attic. C20 extension to rear right. Interior:
stop-chamfered beam and open fireplace to left. Open fireplace and chamfered
beams to right. First floor and rear not inspected. Included for group value.
