Farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. Mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble, brick quoins and
dressings; gabled old tile roof; symmetrical end stacks of brick and stone
finished in brick. L-plan with rear right wing. Two storeys and attic;
symmetrical 5-window range. C20 timber lintel over late C19 plank door with
overlight. Cambered brick arches over C20 casements flanking door: flat brick
arches over similar first-floor casements with brick aprons. Raised storey band:
dentilled brick eaves. Three C20 gabled roof dormers. Rear wing of one storey
and attic, with stone ridge stack. Interior: No.17 to front has 4-panelled
doors, chamfered and roll-stopped beam and ovolo-moulded jambs to open fireplace
to left. Mlid C18 cupboards flank ground- and first-floor fireplace to right.
Attic has old plank doors and collar-truss roof with butt purlins.
